9 - Snorkeling with Salmons


From early July until late October embark on a expedition into the shallow pools and slow running waters, to witness the migration and spawning practice of the massive runs of Coho, Steelhead, Chum, Chinook and pink salmon that spawn. The entire trip usually will take 3 – 4 hours.

 

 

10 - Wind Surfing


Vancouver is a great place to learn windsurfing as there are many secluded bays and inlets. The air sweeping off the Strait of Georgia creates mild wind tunnels and swirling pockets. Jericho Beach is especially good for beginners, and there are lessons available for all levels. Squamish is a little more challenging and is known to offer some of the best windsurfing conditions in the country.
