North Vancouver’s Canadian Outdoor Adventures (see below for Web
address).
Elena Mensch specializes in tailoring adventure experiences
for those interested in British Columbia destinations. Others who enjoy
designing their own self-guided trips should bookmark a new
Rossland-based Web site, Adventure Engine (see below), an on-line
marketplace of adventure travel.
The first time I visited this site—the
creation of former West Kootenay tour operator Amber Hayes—I found

Adventure West Magazine / December 2005
Canadian Outdoor Adventures has created Outdoor Clubs with its main focus on greatdeals, great adventures and great friends. Members
of the Outdoor Clubs have several benefits all geared towards enjoying
the great outdoors, including monthly low-cost outdoor activities,
great discounts and free events. Some
Greater Vancouver Outdoor Gear retail stores have started offering "buy
nights" exclusive to Canadian Outdoor Adventures Outdoor Club members.
But one of the best membership benefits is the chance to meet other
likeminded individuals and connect for future activities.
