"THE OUTDOOR CLUB" COORDINATOR
Regions: Vancouver, Pemberton, Whistler, Squamish
Details: The Coordinator is responsible for programming, planning, and implementing day and multi-day trips for different activities and levels of capability. As well as for different groups such as families, all-womens, adventure seekers, singles, etc. You get creative! The Vancouver club has been running for several years with over 200 members. Click on The Outdoor Club section of our website to see more details on this club. Pemberton, Whistler, and Squamish are ready to launch this year.
We need several Coordinators for each area. This is a commission based position for each trip. You decide how many trips and programs you want to run, we advertise it and do all the admin work, and you do the fun part. Its a perfect position to work around any other job. Clubs will be running year round as well. This can also be a full-time or part-time position.
Its up to you. This club will be growing and across Canada, there is potential to grow with it. Current benefits include discounts to adventure activities, accommodation, and transportation within Canada. Plus a fun job playing in the outdoors!

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Guiding experience in any type of outdoor activities required
-Education and/or Experience in Outdoor programming and activities
-Excellent customer service and relations experience and skills
-First Aid and CPR required
-Great personality
-Organized, Reliable, Honest, Willingness to be Open Minded, Creative, Outgoing, Independent
-Computer Skills/Experience in Word, Internet, Excel, and own a computer with internet access
-Multi languages an asset but not required
-Loves life and likes to have fun
Ongoing Hiring for the following positions:
> Chauffeur: driver with class 4 drivers license, with or without vehicle
> Driver Guides: guide with class 4 drivers license, with or without vehicle
>
Guides and Assistant Guides (contract basis): certified and/or
experience in a variety of areas such as adventure travel, kayaking,
backpacking, day hiking, cycling, wilderness survival instructor, etc.
> Summer and Winter Interns: Business, Marketing, Tourism, or outdoor recreation intern student
